A very well engineered HDPE lumber coffee table. The surfaces have a nice wood grain pattern imprinted. It’s quite a sturdy, heavy, high quality outdoor table. Fairly indestructible and should last a long time on the back patio paired with a farmhouse style cast aluminum bench, but time will tell if my Labrador’s Retriever will leave the table alone, or go after chewing on the edges as he does everything similar made of wood…lol..Was straightforward for one person to assemble without assistance needed, and all cut to precision lengths and for the most part, clearly labeled & pre drilled parts for a quick build.Only exception were the short cross braces for the legs lacking a pilot hole for the screws…and because I had read the reviews before buying and had seen that small omission noted by other reviewers, I had expected that and drilled the pilot holes before putting them together. Because the lumber material is HDPE, the screws go in without very much effort required. I used a bit larger #4 Hex wrench than the one included in the parts bag for better torque turned by hand, but perhaps a #4 Hex Hey equipped drill or ratchet wrench might make the long screws go in that much quicker. You don’t get leg-levelers at this low price point (I didn’t need them), but I guess you could sand down the legs bases if there was a bad wobble, or find some leg levelers to screw on if your patio surface is uneven.Overall a high quality heavy outdoor coffee table at a great price.
